Colonnade Work Party

The work on Phase two of the Colonnade ( the intermediate/advanace freeride part) is coming along great. It’s good to see so many riders down there digging and throwing dirt on a Saturday in January. Riding too! A builder has got to test the dirt’s durability. A Seattle Area rider wandering on down can easily find a way to get involved. Come join in the work and burn away tons of man hours and all that winter fat. Mike is running a very positive operation and work is getting down quickly. Check out the official BBTC.org site.

I have to say Andy is the toughest guy I know. He busted his face, his bike, then helped us on the new line. After that I hear he fixed his bike then hit the same line he busted himself on. Tough! Or, maybe just Bike Love!

I was down at the Colonnade a couple of weeks ago. It's looking to be a pretty slick setup. Well done to everybody involved!

Thanks, Mark! I doubt I would have been that tough if it wasn't for my reflexes. If I didn't roll with that landing, I'm sure my nose would have been inverted as opposed to just a bloody mess. Yes, I eventually fixed my flat tire and put some runs down - but not on the banked wallride of my demise, as it was being worked on later in the day. I rolled by there on my way home last night and it looks like it's ready for me to claim redemption on. IFO am at awe with the pace of progress that Phase 2 is experiencing and how they've pimped-up a once dark and shady area of town. ~Andy
